  • an income of at least €50,000 per year for an unmarried investor, with the sources of income confirmed by a tax return;
  • for a family, the income amount increases by €15,000 for a spouse and by €10,000 for each child under 18;
  • for each adult child included in the application, the applicant must make an additional €300,000 investment (exception - dependent children up to 25 years old, unmarried, students of higher educational institutions abroad).

What documents are needed to apply for a Golden Visa

The list may vary depending on the case. The main package of documents for a Cyprus golden visa for Russians will require:

  • completed application;
  • certificate of no criminal record for the applicant and spouse if applying as a family;
  • medical insurance (separate for each person in the application);
  • confirmation of legal residence by a document of ownership of an apartment or a rental agreement (except for a golden visa for real estate investments);
  • confirmation of payment of the state fee of €500, as well as a fee of €70 for each person included in the application for the issuance of an alien registration form (if such a form has not been issued earlier).

The processing time for an application at the Department of Population Registration and Immigration Policy of Cyprus is about 2 months.
